Open house at The Girl's school tonight, she starts 1st grade on Monday and will be a Gator. I can't believe I will have to be a Gator fan! We all got to meet her teacher and see her classroom, the only problem is that her teacher is an OU grad...but I guess that is better than a Longhorn grad! The girl is starting to get excited, The Boy wants to go to school too, and we didn't take the camera for once.
I assure you that we will have some new pics here before too long, we have just been spending so much time getting settled in. I hope that in about another week and a half (certainly after Labor Day weekend is over) that we should have a lot of this behind us and be getting a little more back to normal. It has been in the high 70's/low 80's all week due to rain, the clouds broke today and before I knew it it was 96 degrees outside. That was a "welcome back to Texas" moment for me! At least the kids can finally go swimming again tomorrow...August in Texas and it has not been warm enough to swim for a week!

Glad the open house went well and she is excited. Ours are doing well and loving school. My knee problem has turned into an MRI today and probable surgery to fix a torn meniscus. Go to surgeon on Tuesday. Off to KC tomorrow for vet conference and 4 nights without husband or kids. Pray for husband and kids to get along!! Love you guys and miss you. Good to keep up a little with this blog. I check it daily. Mrs. KLA
Is it the lighting or does Gavin have a black eye?
Canard note: Gavin does have a black eye from running into a chair while we were moving in. Its seems that he has been an accident waiting to happen since we moved here. Last night he got to running too fast upstairs and crashed into a wall.
